Big4 grad job 開始接受報名,報之前一定要了解 audit/advisory/tax department 既唔同！

Audit: - 每間big4請大約二百人，約10% applicant 會被取錄 - 工作內容簡介 ：Checking of Financial statements prepared by Client, ensure they are complying with applicable accounting standards (e.g. HKAS, HKFRS, Disclosure required by HKEx etc.) - 由於工作時間好長，"hard working "係佢地好睇重既personality - 由於所有工作都係team based, 佢地好著重團隊精神 - 一般GPA 3 已經足夠。其實你太叻，成功機會可能反而較低。始終big4人工較低，叻既學生又多數好多offer,所以big4都會擔心收左叻學生之後，佢地quit offer ，增加請人成本。所以如果三大學生GPA 高過3.5，反而唔著數。如果你cGpa高過3.5，你可以係cv上寫你最低既semester GPA 。不過，如果你唔係三大學生，咁就寫高d好 Tax: 每間big請大約25-50人入tax department, 約10%applicant 會被取錄(tax 無audit 咁多人報） - 工作內容簡介:Provide professional service on computation of Profit tax (HK, PRC US Tax, Income tax etc. - 要求與audit 相似,工作時數較短 Advisory: - 每間big4請大約10-30人入advisory department, 約1-2%applicant 會被取錄 - 由於advisory 經常要見唔同既客,特別係去到senior 的level，有時要做好多pitching,所以佢地著重client facing skills - 由於經常要做唔同既project，工作變化較多，佢地希望請d比較醒既同學。GPA 至少要3.3，advisory 分好多position,包括：Corporate finance related (e.g. Deals, Restructuring, Transactional Service), Risk and Compliance related (e.g. Risk, Forensic), IT advisory, Strategic and Business Consulting 等等 由於有太多唔同種類的advisory，係呢度我地就講其中幾個的工作簡介 Forensic Services - Carry out fraud related procedures for different teams, including Audit team, Deal Advisory team etc. Restructuring Services - Formal Insolvency Work - Financial Restructuring Valuation and modeling - Valuation of business, IA, PPE and financial instruments, using major valuation models (e.g. Discounted Cash Flow, Free Cash flow, Cost approach, Market approach etc.)
